Milestones in MÖBIUS' history

  • 14 July 1997 - Foundation of MÖBIUS
    MÖBIUS was founded by Prof. Dr. ir. Hendrik Vanmaele as an independent consulting organization. It started as a university spin-off (from University Ghent) and was mainly focused on expert solutions in the domain of Supply Chain Management in its early days.
    Quickly after its foundation, MÖBIUS has started to enlarge its scope and has integrated both Business Process Management and Change Management in its offering.

  • 21 April 2004 - MÖBIUS invests in a twofold Prime Foundation Partnership with the Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School.
    MÖBIUS wants to develop a strong interaction between the academic research in the research centers on the one hand and our practical experience on the other hand.

  • 4 May 2004 - MÖBIUS opens its third office in Belgium

  • 15 November 2004 - MÖBIUS starts an activity in the UK

  • 28 January 2005 - MÖBIUS opens its new office in Paris

  • 26 October 2006 - Merge of MÖBIUS with CallMetrics
    CallMetrics was founded by Bart Ghesquière in 1998 based on a grant of the Young Entrepreneurs Fund of the King Baudouin Foundation and became acknowledged as an expert in analizing and improving processes from the customer point of view.

  • 6 August 2007 - MÖBIUS celebrates its 10 years existence and moves its HQ
    Since its creation in 1997, MÖBIUS has known a fast and steady growth and is employing today an excellent team of over 100 consultants and back office workers in its different European offices.
    In a response to this evolution, MÖBIUS has decided to move its Belgian HQ's to a remarkable and greater new office building of 1200 m2 along the Kortrijksesteenweg in Sint-Martens-Latem.

  • 16 November 2007 - MÖBIUS hoists the Dutch flag
    MÖBIUS continues its expansion on the European market with the opening of a new office in Montfoort, the Netherlands.  The new affiliate will be managed by Wessel-Jan Fijnvandraat.

  • 18 March 2008 - MÖBIUS and TPA announce partnership agreement to provide full range of professional Supply Chain Services
    This partnership will combine the in-depth Supply Chain knowledge of MÖBIUS and the Tax, Legal, Transfer Pricing & Customs Duties expertise of TPA into an integrated service offering, enabling clients to fully benefit from the combined services.
