Who is responsible for your data

This website is operated by Mobius Research And Consulting NV, with registered office at Kraenepoelpad 4, 9880 Aalter, Belgium, company number BE 0461.177.689 ("we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal data described below. You can reach us at hvnmaele@mobiusrc.com.

What we collect

• Data you send us. If you email us, we receive your name, email address and the content of your message. We use it only to answer you and to follow up on a possible assignment.
• Technical data. Our hosting provider records server log data such as your IP address, the pages requested, the time of the request and your browser type. These logs exist to keep the site available and secure.

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels or website analytics on this site, and we do not profile visitors.

Why we may process it, and on what legal basis

• Answering your questions and preparing or performing an assignment. This is necessary for entering into or performing a contract with you, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
• Keeping the website available, secure and free from abuse. This is our legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
• Meeting legal obligations such as accounting rules, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

How long we keep it

Correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful for the relationship and at most three years after the last contact. Server logs are kept for 60 days by our hosting provider. Data we must keep for legal reasons is kept for the legally required period.

Who else sees it

We share personal data only with service providers acting on our instructions: our hosting provider Cloudflare, Inc. (United States), which serves this site from its European network, and our email provider Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited). These providers act as processors under a data processing agreement. We do not sell personal data. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, this happens on the basis of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Send your request to hvnmaele@mobiusrc.com; we will reply within one month. If you believe we handle your data incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss and unauthorised access.

Changes

We may update this policy. The version published here, with its date, is the one that applies.
